Onan's Naval GMR game (G&K)

All the natural wonders and CS has already been found by the polynesians. There is nothing left. His military count is most likely from the ships that will soon be seen on someones horizon.

We need to closely monitor his iron count, treasury stock and his CS alliance. The intelligence will ensure our proper preparation for defense.

I know of a city where he has an iron mine. How much and where it is? That information is for sale.

Uh huh. And this is why your military has gone to #1? You have a lot of scouts?

:sarcasm:

Yes...the (city) burning question is, who's he going to pick. Knowing death and destruction are coming, and being able to pinpoint upgrades and such by watching his treasury, does nothing to prevent it. :(

The Danes are interested in knowing the locations of natural wonders, though I'm not sure we've met any polynesians yet. We would pay for such knowledge.

We belive that the Tabarnaki of Carthage are just missunderstood and they too need friends in this world and we hope that just because we are neighbours does not mean that we have to be enemies. The great ocean stretches far and wide and there is much to see out there, not just a few poorly defended polynesian cities.

haha ... right after offering to sell the location of his iron mines

Polynesians are south east of the Dutch. West of Byzantium.

There is nothing stopping me from selling him your location aswell. I'm a buisnessman. If Carthage gives me the best price/strongest diplomatic pressure then he wins. I'm just showing the world that Carthage should not be judged by the horrors of their kinsmen in different universes.

Perhaps we need to be more direct. Would Polynesia like to make us an offer, private if you like, of a price for a map showing natural wonders? I think we know of at least one, will need to check with the scribes.

never said there was, _was_ just enjoying the show. I expect he already knows my location, wouldn't need to buy it (just as I already know his, and yours, especially as enough information has been floated on the forum for anybody to figure it out if it wasn't in their maps already). no nation will survive by counting on invisibility upon the waters. sell away.

Nobody into the Ren. era yet? :mischief:

We can give you the location of 4 natural wonders. I dont know what they are worth to you but I would say 50 a piece is quite reasonable.

We don't actually have contact yet in this game, Foffaren. Once contacted, we'd like to arrange terms along the lines you've suggested. Of course we do have our own scouts out exploring, so the window of opportunity is short.

I didn't do an exhaustive search, but I only noticed Mt Fuji on our maps.
