I started playing CivIV recently, and took I liking to the 1 city challenge. So, is anyone up to one? I propose a Duel-size map, all 18 civs, pangaea, with (obviously) one city challenge. I'll keep this thread open until at least 10 people sign up. Please provide your time zone and choice of leader if applicable (e.g. America).

Players, civs and turn order (going west from start point):

godmstr. please state which leader you want (Russia has 2) and your timezone.

I could try this with the Mongols under Kubli Khan. Now does this mean onely one city period or can we keep any cities that we capture from other players?

I'm in Eastern time (GMT-5) and download my turns in the evenings.

sign me up as Alexander/Greece. (GMT-6)

Well, Gnarflinger, that depends on what the people who signed up want. We'll play without the one city challenge game rule unless most people say otherwise.

@Tboy: I think I saw my answer in the strategy guide. I think it just means that you can't build more settlers. I think it does let you keep the cities you take by force...

Can I join a game? It sounds interesting. I think that duel-size map is too small to play with 10 players. How about tiny-size map?

Time zone: GMT+9
Leader: LouisXVI(France)

How can I delete this message? I clicked [edit] button but I can't find anything that is related to the delete fuction. Modification is all I can do.

OK, Gnarflinger, I'll test it out this evening.

OO! I've been wanting to try the one-city thing out! =)

I'll take Cyrus of Persia if you're still looking for players. One City Challenge sounds interesting to me.

Over 10 people now... I'll keep it open a little longer for more people. If you haven't already done so, either post or, if you're worried about security, PM me your e-mail addresses.
