Only thing better than playing fall further

1500$ for an engagement ring? Cool :). Your wife was happy of it I suppose, when I married I was a student with unstable profit (which I managed to spend on computer games xD) and no MTG to sell ^^. Anyway, the time "when we were young" always seems good from the distance.

I wish it was only $1,500. Selling the cards just helped me earn enough to buy it.

I never got into Magic cuz I realized immediately that it would be crazily expensive. when I get into something I get DEEP into it, and I'm sure that would have put me completely bankrupt  it WAS fun though, the couple games I played.

Im with you. I was completly against playing because I knew it was something I would get way to involved in. Then my friend started giving me free cards and I was sunk. I swear that friend still owes me lots of money! :)

More into the WH40K stuff myself as far as miniatures go. got a full 10k point army of Eldar. Bad part is nobody in this town plays. I need to move again.

now I can't help but think "hey sweetie, remember that diamond engagement ring you've always wanted? that's right, I bought a HORSE!"

Ya, im definitely young. I started out with pokemon in elementary ... and then when others went to MtG ... I went to nintendo (ZELDA!!!)

Edit: I like Warhammer .... but I prefer Dawn of War due to practicality

Warhammer is kinda nice and all as a fantasy universe. On the other hand, those miniatures would cost too much.

Yah. Last (well, first as well :p) board game i did we had square tiles on a hexagonal board, made by taping together normal pieces of paper. Still pretty fun though :)
