You code guys really helped out my civ-OCD with this in civ5, hoping you can do it again.

Accidentally hit retire instead of exit game, then accidentally confirmed since they always prompt you to save before exiting, even after you just did. Anyone know how to remove this blemish from my ingame HoF? Currently running R+F if that matters.

Pretty sure there's a 'delete from hall of fame' button somewhere in the HoF. Maybe after you click on a specific game?
