Opinion on yield from a special slums district

Hey all,

Just looking for an opinion here from the community. One of my fantasy civilizations that I am modding is going to have a unique replacement for the neighborhood: kind of a slums of sorts. I was going to have it provide a yield based on appeal and potentially have a fixed housing similar to the Mbanza.

I'm trying to decide whether food, gold or production would be the most appropriate yield (or a combination of them?)

What do you guys think?

Cool idea! I think food would be the most appropriate bonus yield for slums, just because I'm imagining a dystopian city with a huge population with most of them living in horrible, run-down slums. A while back, I had a similar idea about slums/ghettoes, where I was thinking that they provide more food/housing than a neighborhood, but at the cost of also providing negative loyalty for the city (and also to cities within a 10 tile radius, to at least cancel out the positive loyalty from having a bigger population), so while they are essentially a "better neighborhood" in terms of yields, and allow for some huge cities, you wouldn't want to build too many of them, especially by your borders.

I was also thinking of having appeal reduction from the slums but make them strong... it would prevent spamming since they would kill each other's appeal of but they would be a great standalone district!
