Hi all looking for opinions on best leader for growth in terms of spreading power.

Germany production was great and conquering city states.

Greece for culture should be good though not felt it kick in yet. Wildcard slot definately one of the best perks ive seen.

Anyone got better suggestions? Early war i havent tried yet and that almost certainly works but its settlers and citygrowth or gold to buy buildings

Thanks all

I initially thought Greece's wildcard slot was one of the best civilization abilities.

If you are using it for Great People points though, +2 per turn isn't really that great. It is easily overshadowed by Kongo's Nkisi or the Russian Lavra. Brazil's Carnivale + Magnanimous is probably better too.

It does give you a bit of flexibility by readily swapping in a Military/Economic/Diplomacy/Wildcare slot whenever you want.

For early game conquest, the Aztecs, Sumeria, and Scythia are all very strong.

Kongo can build tall. Also, if you get some Relics early on, your capital gets massive food and production bonuses. Combine that with your Rainforest/Woods bias and you can hammer out lots of Settlers early on.

Speaking of start biases, due to Civ VI's implementation of hills and woods/rainforests, Kongo and Greece get an advantage due to their start generation.
