I like to have the terrain of my civ's heartland match that of the real-life terrain of that civ, e.g. Arabians and Egyptians near desert.
This means I usually have to regenerate the map many times until the terrain fits, which can potentially take hours.
While regenerating maps, I will see many starting locations that look interesting to play, but just not with the civ I've selected to use.
What I think would be great would be a way to save a map and the starting location so one could use the map again with a civ that better fits the geography.
So this would meaning saving the map (currently possible) and also the starting co-ordinates (currently not possible). The only thing saved from the GameInfo side of the game would be the starting co-ordinates, not the other AI civs or anything else, so these would all be re-randomized when starting a game.
