Wow... what did I miss? ROFL

Glad I didn't have to break out my iPod... and CDs.... and cassettes.... and vinyl.... and 8-tracks

Suffice it to say I've seen over 1000 shows in the last ten years, at all four corners of the continental US, the Carribean, and Amsterdam.....

Now my character needs to know.... Which way to Red Rocks?

Not really.... I just hadn't said anything NES-related.... and still didn't... sorry : )

Just waiting patiently.... and lurking in Ffh Nes Ii in order to get familiar

I actually played Nes II to see how bold I could go with my plans without being caught, and is planning my Balseraph Empire.

Orange, I hope we can maintain a good relationship in FFHNES I. Mu hahahaha

Roll call finally done... ForestAuro, you had me scared for a while, but we're all here. Remember, nations, your update is due on Saturday. If one of you thinks they won't be able to make that deadline, email or PM me and we'll talk about it - I'll be pretty understanding for the first one or two, since it's a busy time of the year.

The Doviello

Looking over the windswept valley, Hakan adjusted the wolf cap that adorned his head, tightening the grip on his spear. The Doviello had barely made it through the Age of Ice - rather than retreating, they embraced the winter and became like beasts. But now that the ice was melting, their way of life was set to dramatically change. With the death of Charadon and Mahala, a new alpha wolf had clawed his way to the top of the pack, and he intended to see that his tribe would prosper.

Stepping back into the circle of beastmen who gathered around the small fire here, he nodded fluidly. "It is time."

Leader: Hakan the Razorwind
Government: Nomadic Tribal

It seems that my hands are tied up without gold, I will have to use brains instead of cash ... Cool enough.

Spoiler :
Jopa was doing so well, Seon...

Three Day's Grace and Three Doors Down are pretty good - some of my favorites, actually - the others I haven't heard of. You might like Breaking Benjamin, Jopa.

Sure enough:

Brains are good... ;)

A note: I've decided that I'll probably switch to Immac's system of letting recon units and paid-for recon send in orders earlier for information-gathering. I'm going to one one further than him, though: you can send in recon orders (either for units, or using cash) at ANY TIME in the order process. That includes during the "character round".

However... you can only do one mission per recon unit per round, and money-bought missions will be slightly less effective each time you do them. So use the ability wisely.

Will that not give you, TOO many e-mails and PM's to deal with? You have to have somekind of social life...
Idea, is force people filling and sending certain order template, and tag e-mails/pm's correctly - or they won't count as orders?

His name is (was) zxcvbnm. I don't know what kind of wacky keyboard you use, but ''zxcvbnm'' is the bottom row of letters on every keyboard I've ever seen :p. Not that hard to remember.

I don't know why he left. Shame though, I think he'd have liked FFHNESes. We had our own pre-FFHNES1 game based on FFH planned out, but he disappeared before we could start it. EkoNES will, or should anyway, be better then that though, and I don't think it would have started a tradition in the same way that Jopa's NES did.

Not really. Most people shouldn't have too much to recon, and if I want I can just ignore them... ;)

I do want people to clearly indicate a couple things when sending orders: first, who they are (nation or character); second, that they are Final Orders or Recon Orders. Question emails should be labeled as such. DO NOT GIVE ORDERS THROUGH PM'S.

As for format, well, I don't care overmuch. Just be clear about where you're spending money/who you're drafting, and when it comes to combat orders the more descripitive the better.

Can characters themselves be used as recon units? Or would we just state what we're doing and then choose to share the information?
