Orthanc, that looks freakin' awesome!!!! Now I really need to get to working on a "Forest Owl" (Rinoa) UU and a Squall King unit so that I can finally mark Garden down as a complete civ.

Sorry Stormrage, even once I'm done the list I got up right now, I plan to redo my Corvette and Trident, and then, if I'm not getting too many other requests, I still desperately need to do Metal Gear Ray and Metal Gear Rex. Those two will be my first land units (eventually), currently I have no experience in making anything that walks.
If aaglo ever gets back to his 'factory' he's definately the one to be doing stuff like that.

Well, if you look closely at the front, It's got two twin gun turrets, and it also looks like it maybe has a missile launcher above the main deck..... Which would be perfect, since this replaces the Advanced Cruiser (aegis cruiser) for the SeeDs.
Oh, and if you make a Metal Gear Ray or Metal Gear Rex unit, you know that will leave me with no other choice than to make a Solid Snake unit to counter them

Are you sure Hikaro Takayama? I've circled the parts I think you're talking about on this picture I found of the ship, if you're talking about these, the thing on top is the bridge, and the other things look kinda like fuels cells, engines or some sort of machinery, I see no barrels though.
EDIT: trying to balance a battle between Metal Gear and Soild Snake would be interesting.

Well, you're right about the topside thingy... I do believe that the turret-like things on the deck are Laser batteries (therefore they wouldn't need a long barrel). Also, the section of deck immediately aft of them looks like it comes open, and could possibly be a VLS (vertical launching system) for cruise missiles..... Of course, since you never actually see the ship fight during the game, this is all conjecture, but it does have military capabilities, since the captain mentions about preparing to fight the Galbadian Fleet, when the Estar fleet came and took Ellone, and the Galbadians chased after the Estari instead.....
As for Solid snake, give him stats about equal to a TOW infantry, but also give him stealth attack, invisible, treats all terrain as roads, zone of control, bombardment, radar, and amphibious attack, and he might just have a chance against the uber powerful Metal Gears.....

Er... The crew of the SeeD ship are SeeDs... 2-3 of them can take on an entire Galbadian Fleet

Well modelling's almost done, all that's left is the missile doors and the sails, which won't be very hard at all. It's taken this long because I've been a little busier than normal with school, and there's some pretty intricate blob shapes in this thing which arer slowing down render time.
I decided to make that thing (that I still have to make) right behind the 'turrets' on the main deck the missile doors, should be fun to animate the launch sequence. I'm hoping to finish over the weekend.

I'd say slightly smaller than the Battleship (hull-wise anyways), since this is a replacement for the Guided missile (aegis) cruiser for Garden. The size you have right now should be good....

The White SeeD ship was the command center for Edea's special SeeD team whose primary task was to keep Ellone from the clutches of any evil sorceress who would want to use her unique talents for their own twisted purposes. Ironically, the next evil sorceress was Edea herself, however the White SeeDs managed to retrieve Ellone from the Balamb Garden, and maintain a running battle with the entire Galbadian Navy, until the ship was disabled by enemy fire. Fortunately a small Estar fleet (on orders from President Laguna) was able to rescue Ellone and take her safely to Estar. Also among the crew of the White SeeD ship were the rest of the Forest Owl resistance group who chose to help the White SeeDs in their battle against the Galbadians.

I've started work on my own version of the Rolf Krake (Bjornlo is doing the first one), I'll post updates for mine here, to avoid confusion between comments. Main difference between these versions will be that mine will have sails.
My to-do list is pretty full now, so if you have any requests, that you need done soon, I suggest looking to other unit creators for the time being.
