No, because Christianity believes that the Bible is the inspired word of God. Its not because a bishop, priest, or Pope said so. Also don't forget that not ALL Christian denominations recognize the authority of the Pope .

Because I believe that God truly revealed himself in the Holy Bible and I truly believed that God inspired the prophets in the past to wrote what God said to them.

Next time, DONT refer to the church authority as "men in dresses" and I will respond kindly. I see it as disrespectful to hear anyone calling my priest, bishop, and pope a "men in dress".
