Pale White Style Completed!

The master of forum style creation has just completed a new style called Pale Blue White! I am very proud of this new style.

yup, it's pretty fun. I can create a whole new style in less than an hour.

I probably will take a break now though. 4 styles should be enough for a while. If we have too many styles, it would be a pain to install new hacks cuz I'd need to edit all the different templates.

Thanks for this style TF. To keep things fresh I will alternate a new style every week and repeat after 4 weeks. Right now I am one of 5 users using the pale white style and it looks AWESOME!!

Good job, all the new styles look great and a lot better than apolytons <-- no offense to apolyton

Ha Ha! There are only (checks) two pale blue users now! I like this one. The logo at top is a bit lack luster, but I like it.

I might keep this one...

Yeah, it is the newest and it WILL catch on as soon as people start switching more. It is great.

Now TF, I know you may not be done tweaking yet but I think you should round off the buttons and the logo at the top of the page. The other icons look fine. Of course, this isn't urgent and it looks nice either way!

I actually like the rectangle look of the buttons, so I intentionally gave the logo the same style as the buttons.

I guess that makes sense. I just realized they were all the same font. A suggestion for the civfanatics logo in this style, though. Try putting the fighter in the middle of the words 'civfanatics' and 'forum,' so it isn't like the other new styles.

That's a good idea. I'll give it a try.

I like this style the best of the new ones.Nice and mellow.I find the pastels very soothing

TF luv the forum styles (and anyone else who had input). Great work.

The Blue-style by far is the best.
Pale white is pretty cool too.
I'm a bit mixed about the green style.

One thing to consider (I'm not sure if you have considered this or not).

Approx 15% of all web surfers are colour blind.
So it would be considered 'best practice' to test out you forum styles on a few people who are colour blind.
It's annoying and time consuming, I've had to do that myself; but it can be worth the effort.

PS: I'm not colour blind.

But all in all great work!

I like the Butterflies, but am trying the Neanderthal with the Pale White skin for now.

I've actually found that the Pale White is best in a bright room, whereas if the room is dark, blues or serpias are better for site skins, and the Butterflies goes best with that (at least to me ).

Here is what the Pale-Butterflies looks like:

I just think the purple of the Butterflies, while nice, is too strong a contrast with the Pale. Maybe I'll redo the Butterflies skin to agree with the Pale. Hmmm. That's an idea! But I do find the Neanderthal skin pretty funny, hehe.

I just noticed that some of the smiles aren't working in Pale White (My fav style ) Like :crazyeyes: They'll work in default but not pale white.
