Golden1Knight received a message from the rest of the team. Blood Flood would soon get out of control. He needed to get it cured right away. He sold some of what he knew about the Black Plague to a less-than-reputable salesman for a ticket straight to Osaka. When he landed, Synsensa met him. "Here's the information I have on Blood Flood. Tim's got more for more you in Hong Kong." Golden1Knight put the pedal to the metal and scooted into Hong Kong, looking for Tim. It was easy to get lost in the city though...

So as soon as G1K ditches a card we can get an update and Marcher can go. Marcher just shuttles to Hong Kong, gives his Hong Kong card to G1K, takes my black card, and he cures black.

Marcher if you could manage to draw a yellow card it'd be really great.

I think we should save it for speeding the yellow cure. It is possible that even with doing the black red blue cures with no speedups at all we could find ourselves just waiting around for a yellow card draw and then rushing frantically to get that card to you. All our action cards that might be useful then should be saved, IMO.

Despite their best efforts, the city of Lagos has been hit with an overwhelming amount of Yellow Fever cases. An outbreak has occurred, causing the whole region to explode with cases! [An outbreak has occurred in Lagos!]

Marcher Jovian got a message from Tim: "Meet me in Hong Kong." Not the same ring as "Meet me in St. Louis." Still, Marcher grabbed the next flight to the Hong Kong research station, where Tim met him. "Here's the chemical structure for the vaccine," Tim explained as he handed him a USB drive with the information. "According to my research, it's actually incredibly effective and doubles as a cure."

Marcher stared at the USB. The world was suffering so much, and this device had the answer. He had to make sure not to dro... Golden1Knight bumped into him.

The USB stick hit the ground and broke.

Marcher and Golden1Knight stared at it in disbelief.

Tim heard the noise and got up from his chair. "You broke it?"

They didn't know what to say.

"Good thing I've got three more copies."

[Marcher took Tim's Chennai and Montreal cards. Marcher has cured the Black Death! Marcher is now in Hong Kong.]

Australia has been one of the hardest hit areas of the Blood Flood. It reached a boiling point this week when an outbreak spread throughout the region. Jakarta, Manila, and Los Angeles are reporting significant amounts of cases. [An outbreak has occurred in Sydney!]
