Paradox Interactive games

Bloody hell. The Paradox Interactive Forums are so damn slow.

How good is Rome?

I think I know why Europa Universalis III has run so slowly for me in the past. When I load it up, it says that I don't have over 128MB RAM, but I have 1GB.

Help?

Also, I'm having a bit of a Ricky problem.

I'm Austria. I'm currently top of the heap, higher than UK. I've conquered all of the German minors, took Ukraine, the Baltic Trio, and Belarus from Russia, conquered all of North Italy except Sardinia-Piedmont, and took a large chunk out of France. After taking large amounts of territory from France, revolts started in my mainland. I just checked my capital city of Vienna, and it even has an 8% chance of revolting.

Austria is full of non-national citizens. Those wars you are fighting are gaining yet more non-national citizens. The best way I guess would be to get a party (aka the Socialists or communist) who have a full citizenship policy in charge, and introuduce universal suffrage, freedom of the press, all unions allowed and so on to lower militancy.

Or you could kick some peasant bottom.

Haven't played EU3 or Rome yet.

HOI2 still has me gripped years after it's release.

Have you played Victoria? To begin with it will suck you under, but after you get the hang of it, you can surf it to addiction.

I have. Incredible with VIP although a bit slow later in the game.

The economy, as in real life, is a pain in the ass throughout. :p

Here's a Vicky question.

Playing as the US, is there any way to encourage the capitalists to build factories outside the east coast? Aside from the 13 Colony states and Kentucky and Tennessee, none of the other states have factories. California alone has around 60 pops, so some factories there would be quite nice.

They can't unless they're in your provinces in that state. So get converting those Capitalists!

So I guess I should convert all the countless unemployed Californians
