The missus and I noted some nasty bugs in the 1.0.1.275 patch that make it unplayable. We'll have to wait for the next patch to come out or figure out how to uninstall this latest patch in order to enjoy the game. Several of these have already been noted in other threads. :)

1. When rebasing aircraft, both the sending and receiving city lists the same unit as being in the city (i.e. the sending city never clears the icon out of its display).

2. When a city with an aircraft is razed, the aircraft enters a sort of limbo; it's arabic number icon still displays, but the aircraft is nowhere to be found (may be related to Error 1, above).

3. The late game has gotten SLOOOOOOOW, akin to playing on a larger map. This slow-down makes a Standard-sized map ridiculously slow -- three to five minutes between turns. That was not a problem before the patch!

4. At least once, attacking an enemy unit resulted in switching places with the enemy unit rather than attacking (as though they were friendly units).

5. Fighter craft range limits no longer appear, so it's difficult to guess how far out they can attack or rebase.

Error 3 is the worst. I was doing laundry and cleaning up a tent from a trip to the beach in between turns. I would click on a unit and have to wait for five to twenty-five seconds for the system to recognize a click. I felt like I was in a time warp that was slowly sucking my life away with no more reward for it than a fifth of the turns I might have otherwise had. Uninstall options? Timing to the next patch that might fix Error 3 (and the others)..?

Game Details: King Level, Continents, Standard-sized, 2 Allied Humans vs Remaining City-States, Raging Barbarians, played over a wireless network with machines five feet apart.

Cross-posting here regarding the Iron count bug some of us are seeing on the new patch:

I'm seeing a similar bug, though not quite the same.

In a game as Russia I had no iron nearby so I made a deal with a CS and got 2 Iron. I used these to build 2 Swords and conquered Rome, which had a 2-value iron mine nearby. Eventually culture expanded into the tile and I improved it with a mine - and now suddenly I show 8 unused iron. My 2 Swords are still around, btw.

This is my first game as Russia so I'm not completely sure that the CS resources are not supposed to be doubled, though they weren't when I first got them. I would have happily built more Swords to attack Rome with instead of Spears and Archers, but that big zero next to the iron icon prevented me.

Plus the math is wrong no matter what the combination. I *should* have 4 iron - 2 Russian *2 for civ bonus, +2 for the CS, -2 for the 2 units. Even if the CS bonus is doubled for reasons I can't understand, it should show 6.

I've included a screenshot of the map here:

Weird! If someone knows folks at Firaxis, let 'em know!

Today I won the game with cultural victory and played more... when i captured last opponent capital I won the game again with domination victory... now I have 2 entries in hall of fame from the same game.

Started a game recently and there was a Singaporean settler. It was just standing there for several turns... Didn't found a city, didn't walk around.

I don't think CS makes settlers to begin with, and I confirmed later there wasn't a Singapore CS on the map.

I have version .275 running through Steam. Game keeps crashing my computer. Crash occurs shortly afte starting a new game. I have 1 city with warrior garrison, a working building pasture guarded by a warrior and 1 archer guarding them. I'm making no commands at this point (auto end turn). Game crashes. I've tried to start new games and the same thing occurs with the same general conditions. Game continues to crash. With the previous version it would crash maybe every couple of days, still unacceptable, but this is completely unplayable.

In regards to error 1, this also occurs when aircraft is shot down or consumed (a-bomb) :(
