Patch 1.09 released!

According to my game, the patch isn't there. And according to my firewall, the game never accessed the internet. I have never been able to login to multiplayer either.

Incidentially, I am very unhappy, as I have done all the things that are recommended, and my Nvidia just can't seem to "cut it". I'm using 1 Gig of memory, and an Athalon 2400.

Not yet. I guess they will post it soon/eventually on their sites (Firaxis, Civ4, 2K, etc).

I just installed... haven't started a game yet but two noticeable changes I've already noticed is the game loads about 5x faster. Also when it comes up it tells me that my computer is below minimum specs and Civ 4 will will not run

I didn't see anything in the readme about compatibility with saved games. Dare I risk it??????

OMG!!! I just loaded a saved game... I have a non-T&L card, had revealed the world map so that I could see the terrain but it still had the fog of war everywhere.... well with the patch I loaded saved game and now I have no fog of war... just bright graphics.... AWESOME!!!
