Patch for Quicktime issue is out!

I've got the gold edition and the Quicktime patches won't work - if I put them in, the program asks for the "Civilization IV" disc or the "Civilization IV Warlords" disc instead of the "Civilization IV Gold" disc. Version on the app files are 1.74 (52473) and 2.13 (63968). I couldn't find any mention of patches for Gold on the aspyr site. Looks like there's still no QT fix for Gold?

The Quicktime fix apps are not required when using a newer copy of Civilization IV: Gold Edition. Playing the game straight from installation will allow the game to play as expected.

If the Gold version launches without the fix apps then you don't need them. That's all the fix did - allowed the game to launch.
