Yeah got it, and installed it. PLayed for about 5 min, seemed to work fine. I will be playing much more tonight.
New 2.13 patch out for Warlords!

here goes a stupid question:
is there aright/wrong way to install the patch?
is just hucking it into the correct folder enough?
if so, which folder?

1. Don't try to update by clicking the in-game menu option - that downloads the Windows patch which is no use to you.
2. Download the one linkd in the start of this thread.
3. Run it by double clicking it. It's an installer.

The next expansion is Beyond the Sword, which expands vanilla Civ4 and doesn't require Warlords. So it doesn't include an update to the original Warlords v2.08 expansion as far as I know.
I recommend that you check the version number the application file of each variant of the game. If it isn't the latest, just download and apply the latest patch. There are links here.
