Dutch positions in Borneo were much more heavily fortified than anticipated. A direct assault has been delayed, though there is great politcal pressure for a frontal attack. Japanese forces are temporarily fortifying and redeploying. Occupation forces have pacified Java.

The transport just ended its last turn in the Suez canal, having just arrived from East Africa.

Regardless of what excuses Italian admirals will make, Germany will not allow such deliberate aggression to go unpunished, and will not rest until the Italian pirate fleet is at the bottom of the ocean.

The Austro-Hungarian government naturally stands by their German allies in light of such aggression, and will fully support the German campaign against Italy.

No it did't it's been sitting in the same spot for 2 turns. My convoy stopped
and waited for it to pass but next turn it was just sitting there in the same
spot.

Blocking the Suez would be considered an act of war in
anyone's book.
We would be willing to forgive Germany for this transgression if the
Kaiser will issues an apology.

I just looked at the saves. It turns out that they were not the same ship: rather, it was two transports within a turn of each other, so the first moved, and then the second moved onto the same site. The steam transport in the first picture was somewhere in the Mediterranean when the second picture was taken.

Both ships had the same name "German transport" so as far as we knew it
was the same ship. I think we will have to name all the ships in the game.

The rest of the resources from Arabia arrive at the capitol. We hope to have all transportations secure for next years distribution date. Niamey in the Sub-Sahara is recieved.

No comment yet for the boat collision on route SC-1

Seeing the unprecedented and vicious attack against her German ally, the Emperor Franz Joseph decides that Austria should stand by their allies in times of war. A formal declaration of war is issued against Italy, and hostilities are initiated. Given the historical Habsburg claims to the Lombardy region, an offensive is launched.

Italian positions across the Isonzo are subjected to artillery fire. After the trench garrison was significantly weakened (1/6), the Austrian II Cavarlry Corps charged the Italian trenches. The result was a resounding success (4/5), and the advances of the the II Corps were followed by the rest of the Austrian 2nd Army and their artillery, who are now occupying the trenches.

Receiving a wireless detailing the start of the war, the Admiral of the White Squadron, decided to attack the nearby Italian fleet. After locating the BB Sardegna, the protected cruisers SMS Tirol, SMS Steiermark, SMS Leopold von Daun and SMS Kaiser Franz Joseph I trapped the Sardegna off of Capo Rizzuto. Intense fire followed, with the Sardegna taking several direct hits. When all seemed lost for the Sardegna and her support ships, a direct hit was made on the magazine of the SMS Tirol, which exploded. While the other protected cruisers moved to rescue survivors from the Tirol, Sardegna made her break. Having lost its prey, the White Squadron radioed the nearby German squadron in hopes of finding the Sardegna. (BB Sardegna is bombarded by 3 PCs. SMS Tirol attacks it, and loses. (2/5)).

In an effort to prevent an Italian counterattack, the Blue Squadron of the Austrian Navy shells a railroad running along the coast north of Bologna. All indications are that the railway was completely destroyed, along with many nearby farms.

The official imperial comment from the Ottoman Sultan is 'no comment'. Thank you for your time.

Edit: oh the joy of an unrefreshed forum. There'll have to be another comment in the future.

France echoes the Ottoman sentiment of "No comment", however, we hope that altercations end as soon as possible.
