ok, unmm, i cut and pasted it when i sent it.
not going to be able to redo til sunday morning (its sat evening now) . my comp had a physical HDD failure and i lost EVERYTHING. it will be ok when i have it all reinstalled (email is web based so i can access the game that was sent to me).will have everything sorted in the morning though.

Sorry to hear that, dude. I just lost my hard drive at work - it completely seized. Very annoying and very unfortunate, but livable. However, if that happened to my home computer... *thinks about backing up HD*
I'm back from my tournament, so I hope to play the turn as soon as you send it. I just might try getting up early tomorrow (if only I could get an email to wake me up without leaving my computer on).

I hope that we do at least one turn.......
i think i am down for at least a week , until i can DL a full version that i know works from a friend. i tried reinstalling and patching in the 21j and it failed in some really odd ways (blue pics , original civ4 start screen). i would like to play but it seems i am going to be holding people up, i am sorry.
if you want to have the person before me or after me do my turns til i can get fixed we could, i had originally done my first turn. if you do , build the city on the river so that i have access to both of the gold , research crafting , and build a worker. maybe i will be back within a few turns

hmm, there isn't a FFH2 021j patch (we're up to f). Are you sure you installed the correct patch ?
Did you remember to patch Civ4 Vanilla also, to version 1.61 ?

Ok, I do not think this is necessarily but it might help.
On this site www.box.net you can make your self an account for free [no spam, no adverts] and have 1GB of remote space.
There you create an account with a dummy email [yup, it does not have to be a real email!] and send that and the password to all the players.
Next, read about the feature that is called a 'widged'.
Create a folder for each turn pass:
- Onedreamer->vorshlump
- Vorshlump->BCalchet
...
'Widget it' and embed it into a site somewhere [I am sure you can find a place for that] The person that should send the save via email instead puts that in to the correct folder. It will automaticly be shown in the widged on your embedded site so you have to only check if there is a new file in your widged. [putting all 6 widgets on one site will show you where the recent file is now] You can still send confirmations via PMs or here just to be sure.
I do not know how the files are named but I would put the turn and who->who names into them.
