People aren't joining if I'm hosting a game

Title says it all. I'm located in Europe, and I know there's a lot of EU guys playing Civ. Games aren't set to private.

well then try to make your game have better setings so players are intrested to join

no one wil join on a 12 player game since every one know's that even public 6 player games have a >60% chance to get scrapped

Settings are small, quick, all DLC.

Tested with a friend. He couldn't see my lobby in the list. What's the problem?

There is not only 1 lobby. You can change lobby in settings--->Downloads--->download region. Pick one with best traffic and preferably in Europe since that you live there. Why not trying Paris or London?

And btw, your friends can simply join from your name. Just let them click on the little triangle right to your name, opening a menu. Then ''join game''(only when enlightened, i.e. when you are in a mp lobby).

I will try the above tip.

I know my friends can join me, but I don't have enough friends (i cri evritiem) for a full MP match, so I also need random people to join me.
