I'll test you right now. Describe your best friend or girlfriend to me and what you like about him/her, in ten lines of text.
Then, answer: You're in a classroom about to take a test in a subject you are familiar with. The teacher has you all open your exam booklet, and then reads the instructions to the class that are also written in the exam booklet. Do you look at her while listening to her read the instructions, or do you tune her out and read the instructions in your exam booklet yourself?
Expresses themselves in a subtle way.
Enjoys a foreign culture.
Is not afraid of the truth.
Trusted, generates secrets.
Demonstrates patience.
Listens to reason.
Does not plan details in advance.
Pays attention.

Don't think I would block anyone out unless they were talking complete BS. I would listen to the instructions (though might later read them as well).
I like reading body language. Dunno if that matters but it seems to crop up a lot.

Yeah, I'm serious, and well done on the two questions. People tend to learn/focus best on either visual clues, sound clues, or touch clues. And generally, their word choices and memories betray that. In a full-stop traffic jam, do you remember most vividly the horns and idling trucks' engine sounds, the view of cars going on and on in the distance, or the heat of the car, the lack of wind, and the sensation of the idling (or turned-off) motor?
From your two answers I'd say you're definitely not primarily visual, but could be either auditorily or kinaesthetically inclined.
And yeah, I happen to be familiar with this sort of thing only because if you're going to hypnotize someone, you should use a technique which exercises their strongest sensory path.
I actually avoid cars and have not been in a traffic jam for many years. I remember being bored and sweating in the heat - so I'll go with the last option.
