Having played Civ 5 for a while now (especially the Vox Populi mod). I decided to take a look at Civ 6. I waited a while before purchasing, having read there were many bugs that required ironing out. I am running at 1080p with a GTX 1080ti and an i7 7700k @ 5.0. I did run the benchmark tool, but to be honest I didn't really understand it. What kind of frame rate will I be looking at, especially in a busy late game. Could I hold 60fps consistantly or is that asking too much? Thanks in advance.

Graphics Benchmark Frame time 12.9ms
99th percentile 17.2ms
AI Benchmark Average Turn time 14.90

Edit. 32gb DDR4 3200mhz ram, Storage - SSD

this probably belongs in the technical support sub-forum. my AMD system that i built for pretty cheap 6 years ago does a respectable job in this game (spent a lot of time researching component value-to-performance ratios and picked up some good deals on newegg), though it noticeably slows down late game, but not to an unplayable level. I do avoid huge maps.

Assuming your higher end system has 16 gigs of memory and is reading off a good SSD or even a fast HDD, should be butter for you.

My CivVI worthy system:

AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition Callisto Dual-Core 3.2 GHz Socket AM3 80W HDZ555WFGMBOX Desktop Processor - C3 Revision (turned out to have a good 3rd core, all 3 OC'd to 3.6)
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card (100314-3L ) (overclocked)
GIGABYTE GA-880GMA-UD2H AM3 AMD 880G SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR (upgraded after the build)
Western Digital Black WD6402AAEX 640GB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

I edited my original post and added my Ram/storage details. Hopefully it will run smooth if it is right what you say, thanks for your input.

frame time is how long it takes to render a frame
so 1000ms / 12.9ms per frame = about 77.5 frames per second is your average framerate
