Perp's alignment

Perpentach doesn't do everything randomly and on a whim, he's got a lot more intended actions than you'd think. His behavior certainly throws everyone off, even those expectant of his insanity.

In my last game as the Order Kuriotates Perpentach came to me right after contact demanding I give him Ale. I usually never cave in to their never-ending incessant demands for goods, but I took pity on the poor fellow, he just wanted a drink and his empire had no Ale.

This pushed me up to Pleased relations with Perpentach, which was enough to get him to trade some techs with me - getting us to friendly. This was enough to convince him to switch to the Order religion, making him Good. We entered a defensive pact.

Lesson: Perpentach makes a great drinking buddy. Give the poor fellow a drink and he's a friend for life.
