CG, I'm sorry to say it, but you didn't gain GL Status until this demogame.

Oh :(. I should have joined the Demogame way earlyer.

HA! And what about the honoured citizens?
Ive been in the dg1 longer than most of the people on your list :-(

I'm testing one of my own. Finally got Rome in.. had 11 civs instead of 12. I'm doing pretty well for Monarchy level. :) (playing as the Americans for a change).

Ok, here's my bic file of the first demogame. :D

EDIT: This one has the forum GLs, and Emperor Duke of Marlborough. ;)

Even though I wasn't in the DG1 I think this is quite interesting. I am planning on making a Civilization in the Scenario Editor called Phoenetica with its unique city names and Great Leaders.

I'll test out all three files and get back to you.

Well, first I tried out the 3500bc.sav from Falc. It was great. Starting with Fox nest founded and things under way, I naturally fell into the swing of the game.

I then tried GM's save and couldn't get it to work. That may have been because of my Civ3 game or my hard drive or the save file, I don't know. I think my hard drive is about to take a dump.

So I moved on to CT's bic.file, and it was very convenient with the names automatically showing up. It was kind of strange to see Phoenix's Den show up right after NFH. But I had fun. Also, I played in Regeant level on this one, as Monarch is usually too much of a pain in the butt. I like to have fun when I play, and I like to play at high speed.

Did anyone else do all three?

I didn't know where to place New Falcon's Haven though... so I tried to stick it in the closest spot...

You did good, CT. NFH was pretty well placed. It's just that all the captured American and Egyptian cities after that left a big time gap. It's not a problem.

Here's the list of names I had put together earlier. It covers pretty much all the early cities:

City Naming
1. Fox Nest - Grey Fox
2. Eyr - Eyrei
3. Shailonegha - Shaitan
4. Khatovar - Cyc
5. PDX - Bill_in_PDX
6.Pherris - Charis
7. Civanatoria - Civanator
8. Falcon's Haven - Falcon02 (destroyed)
9. Port Gisnod - Donsig
10. New Falcon's Haven - Falcon02
11. Callisto - Immortal
12. Justinian - Justus II
13. Chie - Chieftess
14. Paville - chiefpaco
15. Plexia - Plexus
16. CSIM - Strider
17. Phoenix's Den - Phoenix

BTW, if you can still edit your bic with these city names, I'd like to see a Great Leader named after Bill_in_PDX and Justus II. Well, OK. Dis too :) .

Ok, here's my version of the DG1 scenario... I did a pretty complete city list, added some more important DG1 figures and I have the Aztec starting location placed (CT's version didn't).

Thanks Plexus. I will try this one tomorrow...I mean later today. :)
