Phoenatica... Revisited

@ Civanator - Trust me Civ, you're on the GL list. You're just like number 13 or so...

@ Plexus - Did your bic. file and it was the the best one so far, just barely beating CT's. I liked the default difficulty level on Reagent. I saw the Aztecs around the appropriate time and area. When the scenario first showed up, tho, the title box showed the name as Phoeniciata. What's up with that? Am I just too backwoods to understand that that's the term used to discribe the Era of Phoenatica? That's what I'm thinking, but clue me in. I zipped through about 3000 years and it was great. Thanks.

Cyc - you forgot Robinville (Daaraa's) in that list.

Hmm. you're right about the name of the city, but I thought Robinville was Daraa's suggestion. I feel bad that I missed it somehow.

Right. I just edited it. I just couldn't think of the name.

So was this just a random thought voiced, like t/w's hanging? Or were we going to do something here?

A league-type thing? You mean like you and I against Padma/CT and Octavian X/Falcon02 or something like that? Or would it be better as individual players?

Hmm... teams would be interesting... but how would that work? I'm thinking of something more along the lines of a GOTM...

Yeah, I agree. The GOTM format sounds much easier. So as he initiated this thread, is octavian X going to be the "boss" of the thread? With maybe CT moderating the rules? or what?

No, on second thought, CT wouldn't be able to Moderate in these forums.

When do we get started?

without the support of good Domestic people, I'll likely end up near the bottom... but I'll join.... when I have the time of course.

Why didn't I see this thread before? sounds cool, where does one sign up?

EA

We haven't laid down the basic rules yet. We're just floundering.

Maybe we can talk cracker into using the map for the next CFC GOTM...

Drawing from the GOTM, we could use things like fastest finish, highest score, first spaceship, conquest, diplo, etc.

Jeez, has it been 3 weeks already? That's 4000 years in Phoenatica time...
