it hit me alast night before I went to bed... I wish I had a girl beside me... but before that, I relaised that we have no names for physical things. therefore, as deputy Expansion leader, I propose this thread, and that it remain open for 5 days to get sugestions for names of physical things, then we make a poll to decide. after that, the President can name things as he runs into them.
what we should name:
our island
the big lake in our island

my suggesions:
CornLand
and
Lake Thundefall

also, to AoA or CMaster, who may feel the need to close this thread, I just want to say that I thought it was nessacary, especially for ease of discussion, and that it is not, in the words of one who PMed me, 'just cluttering up'. further islands can be named by the president, or even the exploration leader, as we explore them.

edit
our mountail dosent have a name. there's only one of em... I suggest Peak Pelly, or even Pelly's Peak. I'd consiter it named after me, and you therefore wouldent need to name a city Weimar sometime later in my hounr... unless you run out of people to name things after.

Well that's very nice Pellaken. I would like some suggestings because my names aren't always original.

"Pardon" you say....."what gives you the right???"

Well....I make the maps, and everything else is named EXCEPT landmarks like lakes and oceans....so I name them. I think I did a pretty good job. :)

"WTH is he talking about?!?!?"

I'm talking about the political map. I'm going to run two versions. A world map. And a country map. Fortunatally they are one in the same now....but next turn we should have some new landmasses discovered......ohhh...fun. I love maps sooooooo much!!

On that note...we will need some contient names too.

CMaster. I have a poor net connection, and a bed computer. if you could, can you put your maps in a seperate thread from the game info thread? it takes so long to lead, and my net is so poor, I havent been able to visit that thread in a while now. I'd prefer drawn maps, or world maps at a high zoom-out level.
