Pics in Sigs?

I noticed today that some other sites allow pictures in people's signatures. I no what you are going to say (No, not with the server problems we already have!) but has it ever been considered? I personally wish we could have them, I know the perfect pic to have in my sig (its long, and shaped like the sig space). Is there a chance this could every happen?

I know, thats why they will never be. If only everyone had really fast connections, and TF had his own, really great server, then maybe...(sigh).

Yeah we used to have them... We had some really great one too... But DEF NOT with the server probs we have now..

*HINT* if you dig through some really old posts..you can still see the (now)non-functioning HTML code pointing to some old sigs. Some of it still works and it's kind of funny to see people's old sig pictures

We used to be able to have pics in our sigs but then when we got (semi) custom avatars the sig pics were disabled, and now there are no pics in the sig's.
In order to gain Custom Avatars we had to give up our pics in the sig and we haven't looked back since, untill now that you bring it up

Bad idea; they will only make the boards messier. I'll then have to disable them if these will ever become an option.

I come here to post and read other people's posts, not to admire their sig pictures.

It's ok in a small forum but with a forum this size it would be unbearable. On some of the other forums I am a part of I hate these people with about 20pics in there sig, I have one small pic that looks very cool and goes extremely well with my name over there.

i dont really see the need for picture in our sigs you have a custom avatar space use that

No sig pics, please. Even if they didn't bog down the server, they'd still be obnoxious. I've browsed a few sites that allow them, and it's ridiculous how some people will put HUGE pics in their sigs. No thanks.

I would like to see pics in sigs and I would also like to see HTML brought back into the posts. If you look at the original post you will notice that about everyone used HTML instead of the BB's build in coding.

Agree with Switch. The only ones which looked fine during the UBB were
Bluemondays and Kefkas pics.
