Nick left? :cry: It doesn't matter too much, I'm leaving soon as well. I'll be back tonight.

I have just discovered the beauty of playing Civ and alt-tabbing between it and the forum. I have a great challanging Monarch game going with Carthage on an archipelago. I can only fit four cities in my homeland, and I'm getting ready to start one of many invasions of the other islands. Without Iron, the Numidian Mercenary RULES!!! Anyway, who's after Nick? Maui? I hope both of them come on tonight, or else we'll probably be on turn seven for the whole week...:rolleyes:

Maui its heading your way. One more thing to add. I accidentaly got a peek at cgannons save. The good news for cgannon is that i already forgot most of what I saw. It seems that if you open the game from ANY other game it will show the last players turn. I had already heard somthing like this in the bug report but it said you had to load the same PBEM twice in a row. Sorry cgannon, won't happen again. And don't get any ideas maui:)
 
I'll be here tonight. The reason that I left was that the game had died a while ago so i started playing my personal game. This is my first attempt at emperor and I kind of got drawn in and lost track of time. No real loss, though as R III isn't even here.

I'm back, but apparently, RIII, the ever-missing Queen, is not. I'll be using my dad's laptop while watching a movie, so expect me to pop in from time to time.

We can't expect TOO much from a PBEM, my friend, but you do have a point. Its all RIII's fault, BTW. ;) :D

I'm back. My problem, gentlemen, is that my productive game playing hours are earlier in the day (9:00am-6:00pm) because I have a life, where Mauiduck isn't even up until 1:00pm EST and Cgannon has to be in bed by... whoops, I'm sorry, I'm taking shots at you because your hours are not under your control!!! I'm so sorry!!! I should be taking out my rage on your helpless cities instead!!! ;) )

Anyway, I'm here, and it looks like there's a turn to play, so I'm playing it. If we are all diligent about checking our mail, we should be able to do two turns a day until next weekend from about tuesday, accounting for the time lag needed to get Maui into such a cycle.

From what I can gather from this thread, Maui is in such a time zone that when it is 10pm here in NYC, it is 4pm in Maui. Thats not a bad lag, he can play when he gets home from school (he's in school, right?).

Anyway, I'm happy you're back, RIII. Is joespaniel in the forum? I'd hate for you to come back, only for the next link to leave...:(

Don't worry, we just started watching Saving Private Ryan, and I'm on my dad's laptop, so I should be able to stay up for a while. I'll just *go to the bathroom* ;) when its my turn...;) :D

Honestly, I think we'll all be happy to play a turn a day once this gets complicated (although the ambition is for more, obviously). But just think what it will be like when we start sending trade offers.... It's gonna be crazy keeping track.

I found a second luxury, btw. Just thought you'd all want to know :D.
