great scenario!! well done, a lot of fun to play, great ships, great sea battles
yarrrrr!!!!
okay - couple of bugs i noticed:
civilopeoadia entries: there are a couple of entires that cause the ame to crash out - as long as you dont select them, its fine.. includes the double canon battery, possibly others. (generally happened when querying an enemy unit, so i dont know wjat they were called!!). This happened afew times. - Incidentally, i had to load from my own save file when this hapenned, the autosaves woudlnt work.
When you win the game, something happened with the native american figure animation that caused the game to crash, so i didnt see the end screens.
otherewise well done!! great effort, must have taken a lot of work.
Thanks, I'll start fixing those bugs when I've got time... Right now this + other stuff for Locomotion + WWII Europe are a lot of stuff to do... Not complaining though, as its fun! + Summer vacation has started!
i've been really sick l8tly...and was just sitting around watching hitory documentaries on dvd, about Napoleon, and the Peter the Great, and other russian Csars and the like....the point is, i've had an itch to play a civ mod with muskets and ships! and the Napoleon mods i've played to death.
Awesome! I love this, this is a nice change from the usual conquering type games. Oh, does update 1.2 suppose to include the stuff from update 1.1, because the Civilpedia entries won't show up and btw the link for 1.1 isn't working.
Yes, 1.2 goes over 1.0. As for he civilopedia, I really don't remember. Some images and most texts prob aren't showing because there are none, but if it crashes the game, I suggest re-installing.
Someone still wants this? That's just wonderful to know
The place I uploaded the files had a 50mb max of files, while I had 195mb of just civ3 stuff. It took them over two years to find it out, but I had to delete them. But I did download them, and all 195mb's are safely on my HD. I think I can ask Thunderfall for a permission to re-upload them at civfanatics.
The reef, IIRC, is something that the barbarians have that is invisible & immobile that can totally destroy ships if you accidentally sail into it. I might've deleted them though, can't remember.
