Rome is sad to announce that we shall no longer support the economies of our friends through our tourists having to go to their lands to see beaches. For too long have we been surrounded by land, and our people want to go deep sea fishing. As such we have claimed the territory and beaches of Theoden. Our troops mearly need to shed some blood first to make it a formality.

I'm thinking of building a hotel Meleager right next to the coast... or maybe an offshore map of the world Dubai style. Your all welcome to come, just wait till we've killed all the current sun bathers first so that their will be room on the beach.

I offered the cities back to Tubby. If he doesn't accept you are welcome to declare war and capture them.

You could always cut out the middleman and gift them to me

What is there to say really. I think most people are familiar with the rules from mtdg's and other pbem's with regards to these actions. Each can make up there own minds about what happened.

What makes you think that you can do what Dave couldn't?

And I don't think I've approved of your massive tourism to the Inca lands... we don't like the idea of romans infecting our beautiful beach, especially when you can't appreciate it for other qualities than sunbathing.

If I didn't have some importance I would've been eliminated long ago. I guess you haven't realised the implications of this... but when Meleager starts his naval invasion launched from the Incan lands you'll realise just how important the Incans are to the world.

I am not to concerned with the Romans. Ther are a good bunch of guys who have worked with me in the first war of the game.

And gifting cities was already talked about and was deemed ok by all IIRC. I refused the trade of the cities. I'll let you guys sort it out. I abided by the rules set forth in the earlier in the game. Whether that was the right thing to do or not, I don't know. But I'm not letting someone who has been fighting to see me die for about a hundred turns get them. without going through someone else first.

If everyone agrees that I should take them back, I will and then empty the cities so that Robi can come and get them.

I'm not the one who went back on an agreement. If you expect me to be friendly with you after that then your kidding yourself. As for the 100 turns, i don't know where you pulled that number from, i'm not sure if we had even met each other.

You know very well gifting cities that are under attack is not allowed, just really depends on whether you would say they were under attack or not, but that aside i don't really care whether you gift them to someone or not because i'm coming for them either way so play on.

Finally I have no personal issues with you, i just have a problem with some of your actions in this game and have acted accoringly. If you have a problem your free to PM me

For the record, and I'm sure Robi_D will confirm this if asked, the city I gifted was not under attack at the time. It may have been in the future, but the enemy troops were at a different city at the time.

Tubby gifted Dave cities. George gifted me a city. There were no enemy troops approaching it...I can vouch for that as can Robi. I dont know about Tubbys cities since I vacated the area.

You would have to ask him as I am only guessing....But he did owe me a tech from a earlier trade. Again..I havent talked to George so I have no clue.

I don't really wish to get bogged down into the technicalities over what happened. We all know we are not suppose to gift cities that are under attack, what it gets down to is when you would consider a city under attack.

As far as Yort-Sirap is concerned, no units were near it nor where they heading towards it, Quicker than U had units in the area and they were heading in that direction. I guess it comes down how close units have to be before you consider a city under attack. I'm sure everyone would have a slightly different view on the matter, and i'm happy to continue the game. The change of ownership wont be changing my objectives.
