Wednesday wouldn't be best for me, but I'm willing to play then so we can finish before the patch. That is what's most important.
Hello, a friend and I may be interested if you are still looking for palyers. However I need to first of all be sure I have the times right. I'm GMT - 5 meaning the 8 to 10:30 GMT + 12 timeslot (if that is what you still use, I havn't read all the pages) would be 1 to 3:30 to us correct? We stay up nearly that late pretty frequently, so I imagine we could handle that. But I would need to be sure we are available often too so that we arn't just causing an inconvience to you, would hate to do that.
If one of you would reply confirming I have done the time difference right that would be fantastic and I will be back to tell you if this is something we could do regularly. Thanks in advance what ever the answer

Already got the new patch, even played a match (sounds patch has great potential for strategies) & not a good cyber expert to know how i can undo that

That would be nice to see 2 more players for a next game with the new patch!(i will take at least a week to evaluate this patch)

We have our first game underway, but it's nearly finished. And I'm always happy to find more players willing to play at this time on a regular basis.
Once we're done with this game, I'll probably start up a new thread to coordinate the next (I'll post the link here when that time comes). In the meantime, feel free to post here if you decide you and/or your friend would like to join us. A six player game would be great.

As far as the patch...I don't know if it's even possible to go backwards to an earlier version. I've read before that to not get auto-updated, you have to turn off either Civ's or Steam's auto-update setting (probably the latter).
I doubt I will even do this. Supposedly the game will work post-patch, although we may face some happiness issues. That may be a pain, but at least it should affect us all equally.
In any case the game is nearly over, and I wouldn't expect it to last too much longer; especially if we have another longish session. Turns are getting long though, with more units moving, so it could actually take two sessions, depending on what happens.

Thursday or Friday would work better for me, and playing on the weekend would be fine, but I would rather not play on Wednesday. I have something important coming up in RL and I want to be fully alert.

Hopefully not a combat penalty...bizarre how getting nuked makes a nation happier...we'll see....
I'm not that attached to outcomes...I can't imagine the rest of the game being as good or better than the last session.

Ah, if my time matched up with Brendor's then I have done it wrong, my friend and I are US east coast, so it may be even later. Also, I just found out that my friend is starting 8am summer classes 4 days a week very soon, so that wouldnt be very good for availability.

Not to mention space parts are actually slightly cheaper post patch
Well, as long as we all know that, if Tabarnak manages to launch that spaceship, it's only because of the patch.
What about Friday? For tonight i'm not sure because i will have some things to do before week-end(holiday friday again). Girlfriend will not be a threat too
