Well, by the time the death strike units come around, you've got a pretty organized defense, and also, the death strike infantry doesn't have such a high attack compared to other units of it's age. And it goes obolete in something like 3 techs.


Maybe have them also upgrade to mercenaries?

You mean soccer players? They already do. Or if you are talking about the boy/girl agents, ok, that'll work.

I've just checked. They boy and girl agents both upgrade, but the upgrade flag isn't checked. :crazyeye:

Fixed, and made them upgrade-able to all archer units.

Ok, so how do we deal with the soccer player issue? Make them 15 shields more expensive?
 
Ah well.

I've already raised the shield cost to 50, but left the attack and defense alone. (5 is the same compared to the Boy Agent, and IIRC, the Girl agent has 6 attack. I'm at a library's computer right now, not at home.)

Should we lower the defense (to 1) instead of the attack? (6 attack seems reasonable.)

And what about the Barbarian to Kid statue? Eliminate it completly? Or keep it dispite it's drawbacks?
 
Lower the defense.

And yeah, there's really no point in having the barbarian kid statue thing. By that time, barbarians really can't kill anyone. And I've never understood why it increases research.
 
Ok, delete barbarian to kid statue, (or at least change the effects, or stick it earlier in the game) and lower defense to 1.

Anything else?
 
Hmm, I've encountered a slight problem.

The tech costs then rise absurdly high...

Or should I just double first age ones, and then X1.5 the next age's? And the rest the same?
 
Ok, even that didn't work.

So, I'm just doing the X1.5 for the first age.
 
Yay! Techs are now re-arranged so they look neat! :yeah: (TLC...)

Anything left before it goes to public release?
