Hey everyone, I'm new to Civ Fanatics. I've been playing for a while and love CIV3 because I am too stupid to play the new versions of the game. so here is the scenario. I'm Playing my best campaign CIV3 game on Warlord as the French with only Eliminate All Rivals victory condition. I have captured all cities on all continents and islands in the world and installed governors in all cities but a few that I raised and planted a settler there in world by1675. I also have discovered every square of ocean using explore vessels and normal travel between the continents to take them over. . However, there is one AI civ left and it's America with no cities and the game continues with no victory.
I found one galley off one of my coasts and I bombed and destroyed it thinking that would do it but it did not. My question is wouldn't the AI have to move its piece if there was a hidden worker or settler on of the continents. Same question with ships. Wouldn't the AI need to move the ship with a settler in it?
Can the AI just fortify the piece so I do not notice its movement?
Do I have to hunt every square to find it? .
Have any of you come across this issue?
sorry for the long message
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated,
Sincerely,
Steve
