OK. Here is a scn file and the rules attacked. Would anyone be so kind to see what is wrong with them? Game crushes, I know it's because of the tech tree. It isn't quite finished...?
Last time I had similar problems it was due to University tech - it was enoygh to exclude it from tech tree. But this time
I don't know if it is the same.
Except for that, I'll be in need for playtesters soon for my scn about Mamluks. Any volunteers?

Ah, one more thing. I neverremember that. What were the techs that change the people styles?

Have you checked for spelling mistakes, missplaced commas and technology loops? (where a tech's preq is ulitmatly that tech itself).
In my experiance, these are the 3 things most likely to cause the rules file to crash.

I was editing those rules by editor not manually so probably it's not comans and mispelling but the third option may be it...
I use prerequisite of one tech the same tech. Thanks! I'll check if it's the thing.

No worries

Oh, thanks, that will help me with my
tech tree much. Probably I'll include some sounds for the first time. Not much, just will use old ones for infantry and cavalry for other units, but it's always something,
isn't it...

I have a problem. I wished to make use of Manhattan project, but it doesn't work;
You can build the unit in Nuke slot though the woner wasn't built yet. What can be wrong?

Damn! Damn! And I had such nice ideas...
But the scn isn't far from being finished.
I have a weak for doing that.

forgot. If you set wonders as objectives in MGE, you and Ai opponents will be unable to build others - only placed wonders or under construction will appear in your scn. Others will be "disqualified" and become unbildable automatically. :)

Thanks, I've heard about it, but I don't have MGE and I don't use objective system I think.

Hi

Some questions and other stuff;

Is there something special about carrier slot?
It doesn't seem to work?
That's no problem, but I'm curious.
I made mong tech 3 prerequisite of mong cav3
and mong inf3. So mong tech3 was given; they could build
mong inf3, but mong cav3 not, until I changed the slot...

Egyptians shall have a democratic gouverment. Can I toggle
Senate approval on agression? I think I saw such option somewhere...
Or am I wrong...

Want to see some (not too much) new artwork?

AI does not build the unit in the carrier slot (presumably made so by the original designers cause it does not know how to use carriers properly) even if its not a carrier. It will build carriers (but not use them properly) in other slots.

Also as Marko discovered, if the AI does not have despotism as its government, it won't build the unit in the warrior slot.

have a look at this old thread for other tid bits

As the human player, or as the AI? If there a unit with better attack/defense statistics available, the weaker unit won't appear on the build list of the AI (or at least it won't be built).

Select the "Toggle Total War" in the scenario parameters. That will silence the senate (for ALL civilizations!).

Yes, yes!! :D (or have I already seen it?)

Thanks for replies, again.

The carrier slot is an interesting thing, then. it could be used in special situations... F.e. in a scenario in which every civ can theoretically can build sth, but only human player should...

And again; what were the techs that were changing the people
in the cities?
