Is there people who still playing RifE? For me, 8 years and counting. Love to all this community and especially to the modders and every one who had made this gem of game possible. Kudos!

45 year old civ 4/FFh/ noobish none civ virgin here (!?) so yup even old none lurkers like me are still rolling up from the depths.

I'm just looking at all the delightful civi Kandy on offer, gorging on these forums like a wild boar eating corn.
I'm also here to help mod/art/web (eventually) once i've played some of course.

I literally bought civ4 about a week ago (i'm a 20... 27! year civ veteran just not civ 4 for some dumb reason) and if i have a breath in my body i will try to help civ4 and all it's off shoots the best i can, it's the least i can do for ignoring it for over 10 years ...wow that sux im so mad at myself for bypassing civ4 early on.

Not just playing, the thing is still in development. Sadly the current versions of it are not 100% stable.

Well, not so much RifE itself, but i'm still playing (and working on) its follow-up AoE.

Thanks to you black_imperator for all your work and love. I did try some years ago AoE but RiFE was more full of working content for me. Do you have a download link for the late AoE so i can give it a try now?

AOE always had all of Rife's content. We currently have two versions of it
One that's older but stable for multiplayer : https://sourceforge.net/projects/ashesoferebus/files/ (take the 14.11 file)
One that's newer but usually not multiplayer friendly ( and has currently startup crash issues) : https://sourceforge.net/p/ashesoferebus/code/HEAD/tarball?path=
