Please explain the summary Civ list

There's now a lot of info in the Civ summary at the lower left of the screen. The shot is taken with ROM v2.8, no ModMods.
Could someone please explain the contents, or point to an explanation? I'm sure others than me would benefit from this info.

Here's my understanding:
  • Column 1: Score. How do you sort the list using the score?
  • Column 2: Presumably the score change from the previous turn(?)
  • Column 3: The yellow star is me. What do the others represent? The stars seem to be first, second and third in score. Or me and the two strongest AI's?
  • Column 4: Civ name
  • Column 5: It looks like a spy icon, What does it signify?
  • Column 6 and 7: Presumably a strength comparison, (my strength)/(AI strength). Correct? Or is it 5 and 6 that are connected?
  • Column 8 and 9: Tech being researched (turns left)
  • Column 10: Some trade indication. This is in standard Civ IIRC, but I don't remember exactly what it is.
  • Column 11: The paper signifies an open border agreement IIRC.
  • Column 12: State religion with a star for the founder
  • Column 13: Attitude towards me
  • Column 14: What does the red hand signify?
  • Column 15: No idea, doesn't seem to be a score ranking. Why the different colours?
And please excuse me if this is in the manual. I do have it. It would still be good to have here, though.
 
1. It counts down unless a smaller civ is a vassal of a larger civ, represented by a star for the dominant civ and a bullet for the recessive civ
2. correct
3. The star says that civ owns a vassalage. The yellow differentiates that it is you.
4. yup
5. it means you have enough espionage points to conduct spy missions against that civ or sit on it and see what their cities are doing.
6 and 7. Yes, it is strength by comparison.
8 and 9. correct again; tech researched and turns till it is acquired
10. means you are currently trading with that civ
11. correct
12. yup
13. yup
14. that civ is having civil queries within it's borders, a.k.a. one or more of their cities are growing rebelious
15. number of cities that civ currently has
 
In the Scoreboard Tab of the BUG Options hover the mouse over the column order and you see a popup with every option shortly explained.
 
You missed

position 0 - Crossed swords indicates you're at war with that civ.

And I thought that the red hand meant that the civ was preparing for war with someone, as per the Sit-Rep Military Advisor.
 
Doesn't 14# mean that they are preparing for war? That is what it says under BUG options
 
The fist is a symbol that the civ is mobilising for war. This is defined to be when the civ will not go to war with any civ because "We have enough on our hands right now". It often happens when they are fighting down a rebellion, but can also happen when they are planning to attack... you!! [SFX: Duh duh duhhhhhhh...]

Also, #10 means that you have a trade route possible with the civ (IE. There is a trade connection between thier capital and yours). If this is there, you can trade resources, and open borders gives trade routes between your civ and thiers (unless your civics say otherwise).

And the peace sign in position 0 means you can't declare war on them. Doesn't seem to work the other way round though.
 
It means your the worst enemy of that person. :eek:

Oh good God! Not sure why, all I did was build Soloman's Temple in my Holy City directly next to his Hindu empire. Why should that excite him? Why can't we live in peace? I like my neighbor so much I converted his nearby Hindu city to Judism. He should love me for that. Where's the graditude? Maybe I should convert another city so he understands better my good intentions.......:D
 
One more thing to add:
If the number of cities digit is white, it is the actual number the civ has.
If is written in cyan, you have no real diplomatic way to receive that information, and the number just gives the cities that you have discovered. (For example, you cannot negotiate about cities with vassals, hence in your example those are all cyan).
