[Pir] Please I really really need help

Regarding to numerous praise and recommendation on this game I install this game on my laptop and start to play it. I enjoy playing it on some extent eventhough I still have an issue on party moral and divide plunder, which can left me with only having 1000 gold or so just after I defeat black bead (I might miss spell it) that is also frustrating.

But my biggest issue is, I play this game on laptop. And it make me completely impossible to be able to dance with the ladies.

Because I got no numlock, and I do the dance with both my keyboard for forward, back, left and right direction, while turn left and turn right I do it by clicking it with my mouse, it just crazy.

I seek all the thread regarding this issue they said in they release the patch 1.02 so I can adjust my keyboard setting but alas it is not working, I also try to adjust the keymap.ini also it's not working.

Please help me what should I do? even if I have to press 1 or 2 in keyboard its alright I can do it, but by clicking on both mouse and keyboard it just impossible and the rythm is so fast.

60+ peoples watching yet no one helping? I just stuck my save game in the part where I suppose to be "dancing" with the ladies successfully but I keep trying it without any success. If only I know how to setting the button for turn left and turn right in my keyboard it already enough.

Think of it this way- Trying to play Sid's Pirates! without a number pad is like trying to handle a sailing ship without a wheel or tiller.

Sure, you may be able to jury rig something or stay on course with sail handling alone, but it won't be easy and will put you at a major disadvantage.

A lot of people find dancing a challenge under the best circumstances, and the same for fencing against Montalban as you age. As you play more advanced levels, these two things are particularly challenging and frustrating.

Give yourself every advantage. Enjoy the game as it was meant to be played. Get a number pad to plug in to your port, Matey! It's nice for Civ and other Sid games as well.

I just read that there exists a trainer that does the dancing for you.
I haven't tried it yet, but will because the dancing took away most of my interest in the game.
