Politics forum

I apologise if this has been suggested before, an it may well have been. A good deal of the threads in Off-Topic are on these subjects, so perhaps a Politics & Current Affairs Forum? Then again, I don't suppose there'd be much going on in OT, with sport and politics gone. Mainly music probably. Well, just a thought.

I don't really see the need for one but if you really want one then start getting some supporters. Then send some PMs to TF until you get a response and maybe you will get your forum.

We had long politics discusions in the OT long before the Sept 11 terrorist attacks.

Besides polotics, OT also has discussions of the DP, Abortion, social issues, etc.... but the creation of new Forums is beyond my pay grade.... if people want and support it, why not gather the folks and ask...

The OT is the Political Forum. At least, that's what I thought since I joined.

This had been brought up before and TF, AoA felt there's no need for a separate political forum as OT is serving the purpose well enough.

KD sums it up well, the OT is the political forum, if we keep "farming out" forums, soon the OT will be a giant blank!

A separte forum for every subject isn't needed in my opinion.

Still are now. Even more prevalent I think. Every political thread will end up in a slugfest betw the pro-Israel and pro-Palestine camps and everything in between.

I wish we just banned all politcal threads. j/k Ppl seem to get too upset in them though.
And I agree, no sub-fora for OT. It is not that bad, all the interesting threads stay on the first page. If they didn't then I would agree to make some sub-fora.
