Poll: Does your Civ IV actually work?

Yes my CivIV actually does work
and indeed it does work well.

No trouble with instalation and no trouble with the graphics.
I've played nearly an hour so far and the game has run flawless.
And I can't wait to get back for more..

My copy works perfectly. There are almost no compliments and all whines around, because people whose game works are too busy playing it most of the time.

Working OK for me, so far (ATI X800 XT) but I did have the "Disk 2 labeled as play disk" problem - it took about ten seconds to resolve.

Works very well from me. Played it within one or two minutes after inserting the dvd.

I'm still on my first game and only discovered two or three minor bugs.

I had sound glitches with the wonder movies the very first time I played it. The next day however, they were gone. I haven't seen any other problems, it's a great game! I voted yes.

Just a bit strange that currently 25% of the voters say "No" but more than 90% of the posts say it works. Why are those No-Voters not posting the problems they have?
Or is somebody spamming the vote?

Take a look in the Technical Support section, those who are having problems are too busy dealing with their problems. Sad to say, I am one of those people. I am having some minor issues here and there, but the game is playable. Though are any of you having problems with the game being somewhat slow? Like response time and such. It seems a bit laggy for me, though I do have a 2.5 yrs old video card, which is what people are saying to be the cause of the problem.

I voted no because it works, but the graphics are very lagging. Sometimes screen is all black, some parts unsee-able. Its just un-playable now. My computer is only 3 years old now. If I have to replace it, I will be pissed.

game crashes to desktop ocasionally, or more often reboots the entire system after about 45 minutes of play.
