Exactly what the title says. Currently if a unit is purchased with Gold instead of trained or purchased with Faith, they start with half of the XP that they would normally get (from Barracks, etc).

Should we keep this mechanic?

Have you considered instead of buying units, investing in them, so they cost half production and with full XP? Just like with buildings.

Note that Freedom has a tenet that allows full XP gold purchases, and Authority has units that can only be purchased with gold and also get full XP.

Without knowing why you want to change this, I default to "half XP".

True. In that case units would be bought instantly with full XP

The vote is clear, thank you everyone. It will stay as-is.

I don't, the poll was to confirm community desire for the mechanic.

I guess these 2 features should be slightly buffed if half xp is the baseline, otherwise they are just half as attractive
