I'm always in favor of engineering, because it is least likely that the AIs research it. If we learn engineering faster than the AIs research feudalism, we can trade for that and have the benefit of movement across rivers, which is valuable on this map. We should be faster if everybody else is at war.

I am against feudalism because by the time we have learned it the war is either over or we are in the offence and do not really need pikes. Crossing rivers is more important.

I am against monotheism because it is already known and we can trade for it.

I am against monarchy because we (soon) know the superior republic and the AIs are probably already working on it.
