I don't know for sure.I think T1.Sometimes i'm just downloading at 500kb/sec or more.
It rocks ,but i'm getting used to it.
Now that my internet is so fast, other limitations apply.My Ram's are to slow for my connection in writing data to my hard disk.And my hard disk is to small (10Gb) ,if i use a file sharing program i can easely download that amount of data in one day. (it depends afcourse of the speed of the server from wich you download)

My college uses either a T1 or a T3. Sometime's it rocks and is super fast, other times it is extremely slow, it depends how many others are on.
