Poll: Which Civ will you play first game as?

I'll probably go random with my first attempt, although Rome's UU w/2x the strength of a normal swordsman is tough to pass-up. Random works for my first game since it will be more about getting comfortable with and realizing the beauty of the interface.

Not to say Rome is the best Civ but I'm going Roman. I've always felt Civ was made for Rome. The Romans are the first GREAT Civilization. I think Egypt would be second. It's good to be King? NO! It's good to be Ceasar! heh heh

i pretty sure i gonna be the germans. I've been listening to alot of Rammstein lately, so i guess that basically made up my mind. Not sure which leader though, since i like Fredericks traits more, but panzers fit in perfectly with Bismark.

For my first game, i think i'll be India. I'll be the ultime peacemonger, with all nations bowing before my cultural, religious and scietific might.

In the second game, i'll just be the mongols and kill everyone. good times.

I will be with this game for years, if it is as good as CIV II and CIV III:Conquests. I really enjoyed CIV II and wonder movies are coming back!
First I'll play some games with Greeks. I love culture and I can't wait to see how will the new cities look.

My first game will be Germany as Frederick.

I think that a builder style game will be a nice way to learn how the tech tree really works and to get used to the UI.

The Creative and Philosophical traits seem perfect for this...

After that, who knows.

Started playing CIV3 with Persia.

So Persia for cIV.

I imagine it will be the Indians, primarily because of the fast worker. Most of the other UUs are known quantities, but I'm very intrigued to see whether or not this unit is worth the hype. Plus, the Spiritual trait will allow for the grabbing of an early religion, and I want to explore that game mechanic as well.
