basically anywhere on this site minus the forums there is an ad for windows xp/windows messenger and it freezes my browser. i cant load anything exept the forums.

my popup killer wont even work on it(i got the killer just for this ONE ad and it wont work....)

i would get the source location but it freezes before i can do anything...

Try blocking ugo.com and image.ugo.com...

the latest popup is causing my browser to crash..both opera and internet explorer most of the time...after a few tries i got into site feedback to complain

Yep, a popup in the forums killed my browser yesterday too. It wasn't nice. :(

 It's worse, so much worse!!!!!

I just had over 30 IE windows appear on my screen when I was Closing a CFC forum thread!! IE then crashed, taking valuable other IE windows down with it and freezing my system for some time!

Whilst I understand that this is the work of nasty 3rd party advertisers, this is totally unacceptable for any site. Please sort this out!

I am gonna give this site a rest until this is resolved. Twice this has happened in one morning!

Recommend you set Opera to reject pop-ups while browsing the site. It should be an option on the F12 menu, if that hasn't changed too radically in the latest version.

good idea except now when i use yahoo web mail the address book does'nt pop up..i have to change that option manually just for that....but atleast i can control those annoying pops up.

pop-up:rocket:

damm had to enable pop ups to get open the "more smilies list":(

 Which version of Opera are you using? With 7.10, I have my popup setting to "only display popups I request". (Or something like that - I am currently at work, & must use IE ;) ) I don't get any of the standard ad popups, but when *I* request one, e.g., click on the "Upload File" button, there it is. :)
