Two Questions:
1. I've been trying to merge my poses into one file so that I can just render it all at once. Similar to Plontius's worker animation files.
But sometimes when I add a new pose, it effects previous frames, and when I add a key frame it also distorts the figure in previous frames. So how can I apply a pose without it having any effect in older frames?

2. Is there some way to automatically have Poser render all the directions for me? So I can just hit render, and when I come home I have all the animations in all the directions rendered? If so that would be a great help.

Merry Christmas.
:)

I had a similar problem. I found that if you make sure that all previous frames are linear before you apply the new pose that seems to solve it (assuming you ere having the same issues as me).

Have you tried Micaelus' Python Script? I find it makes everything much easier. I have one base for each type of unit then I replace the name with the new unit and copy it into a master list and run that. That way I can render a bunch of units without being at the computer. I'm rendering 3 this afternoon while going out for Christmas dinner (they take about 1-2 hours each unit on my computer).

Open the Keyframes window. Every frame that is orange or brown is linear. The poses will likely load as spline (green). Just highlight these and press the linear button (the orange zig-zag in the top right). Make sure you do it each time you load a pose and I think that it should work.
