I am playing for Greece, opponent is playing for Kongo. I am playing GS latest version with no 3-rd party mods.
My opponent has 2 sea units discovered by me. One is battleship, second one - nuclear submarine next to Voronezh.

I have done a printscreen, where you can see this.

1. The question is why I am able to see and attack enemy's nuclear submarine if none of my units is next to the submarine?
2. The question is why I am able to see enemy's battleship? Is it due to fighter located in my city?

My privateers regulary get attacked by barbarian archers/crossbows from two tiles away. There is something wrong with the stealth function.

Looks like they attacked Voronezh? You can see hidden units that attacked you the previous turn.
Battleships are never hidden.

Battleships are never hidden, if I understand mechanics correctly they can be seen only if they are in sight radius of units/city center/encampment with means 2 or
if they have attacked previous turn.

- none if this has happened in my situation. Neither battleship nor submarine has attacked my city or any unit.

You have an Artillery with a Observation Balloon, which I believe is an excellent scout unit as it increases the sight range (it is a baloon afterwards, the only Support Unit I built outside of Military Engineers with GS).
