Post G&K civ abilities, UUs, UBs

I do agree Sweden doesn't seem particularly well designed. I can't see the AI doing well with it. But they don't all have to. I guess Sweden should be played as a "Coalition" type of guy. Being very loyal to his friends and being a warmonger to the enemies of his Coalition. This way, as Sweden, you can't really chose who you are going to attack. It will be the one civ that allows you to enter in with 2-3 friends.

The UA seems strange and unique in a way that a) no other UA gives bonus relating this directly to diplomacy and b) it is very dependent on the number of civs in the game and c) the UA grows worse in the course of the game as fewer civs will be available for DoF or willing to do one. This is strange in so far as the Noble Prize is a modern thing and Specialists grow stronger in the late game. So I wouldn't mind if we find a way to switch the power of the Noble Prize to later ages. What about a percentage per city state friend? 4% more Great People Production per friend?

I would let the UA stay for the moment however.

Getting allied status with City-states is easier than getting DOF which is the reason why Sweden can easily become OP in games without Greece . Also,I like this element of "Nobel Prize" that makes the player share its UA with other civs . Probably,one thing that can be done to Sweden to adjust this bonus to the number of civs is:

They receive +10% GPP for each partner,until the 5th partner;
To the 6th partner and beyond,they only receive +5% GPP per DOF(his partner still receives 10%);

For Maps with less than 8 civs,I think the 2nd element of their UA(receiving +90 :c5influence: per GP given to a city-state) is already a good way to compensate the decreased number of civs,as the number of city-states is already reduced,which indirectly makes the +90 :c5influence: better .

I've been thinking of the old civs, particularly Germany [...]

About the Old civs(Germany,Mongolia,Spain and USA),I think that these changes can make them more interesting to play:

Germany: They can receive units when they capture a city-state or a capital or a barbarian encampment . They won't bankrupt with that because of the discount on land maintance .

Mongolia: They can "liberate" a city-state if they conquer them,even if such city-state is already Independent . Doing such thing gives them gold(equal to the half of Gold they received when they conquered the city-state) and culture,while the influence with the city-state "liberated" is decreased by -60 :c5influence:(while the influence of everyone else with that city-state is resetted to 0) . Also,they don't have global repercussions with other city-states and no permanent war with the city-states they DOW(but they still have diplomatic hits with other civs);

Spain: I agree with your idea of giving them the bonus against CS that Mongolia have,while giving to Mongolia another bonus;

USA: Citadels provides the same bonus of the Custom house(+4 :c5gold: per turn) .
