I can draw things like people, but not vehicles...
You did some great wolf units in the "Units!" thread which could be used for the Lyconians. What do you think? But I still need your faction profile, but I understand that you might have some trouble finding city names. What about naming your "cities" after landmarks, like the Sioux of Civ2?

Memory key?
I'm not sure what they're called in English, but I mean a little thingy you plug into a USB port and allows you to store data on. Here in Norway we call them "USB disks".

That could work...

I think I know what they are... I think they are called "Memory Sticks"...

Well, I figured out how the CD burner works (and patched my copy of Master of Orion III while I was at it, but that's a different subject). Now all I need to do is see if I remember where Cedric's site is...

What I understand as a "Memory Stick" is the flash card Sony uses in their digital cameras.

OT (On-Topic):
If you are want to draw some units, you could start with my "Prism Soldier" unit. The Lyconians gave the Prism tech to the FraFed, so make up whatever you want. But try to make it a little bit futuristic. And also don't forget to draw all units facing right, since ToT mirrors a unit's graphics when you move it left.

And how's that faction profile going? (I mean you as well, sir_schwick, I have pointed out a few things you'll need to correct.)

I've PMed PE about his map.

And here are a few screenies of my work with ToT: (Graphics are only "borrowed", though.)

I can't attach more than 5 files to a post, so here are the rest:
For #8 your Transcendi should be black/dark violet, because Transcendi are always absorbing energy of all kinds from their surroundings, including light and heat. This creates the "cold dark shadow" immage for which they're known.

Something like this?

Folks, this looks a lot like a Civ3 thread. This is the Civ2 forum...

It was originally going to be for Civ 3, but now its being made for Civ 2 instead...

{filler} Gotcha.

I've been asked by TP to submit my PlutoEmp info. Before I do so, however, what version of civ2 is this for?

The transcend unit is not meant to be in this scenario anyway. Those screenies are just tasters of what I am able to do with the right graphics.

I can't change it (I use SCURK to draw it)...
Why do you use SCURK to draw graphics for Civ2? Paint works just as good, at least for ToT. (I know, since I compiled the units.bmp file for my screenies in Paint.) But it's your choice what program you use.

It's for ToT. And again, may we use your map of Plutonia?

Good point. But you could also just use an empty unit slot. That also has the benefit of knowing how high a unit can be. But Paint hasn't got a real palette, not even a palette editor. But suit yourself. It's the units who are important, not how you make them.

But we still need faction profiles for these factions:
- The Lyconians
- The Towelites (almost finished, needs a few modifications and a city list)
- The PluEmp
- The Katz
- The Bathosians

We also need more people to draw graphics, even though we could "borrow" a lot. Suggestions for graphics to "borrow" are welcome!
