May not be what you expected, but this is the direction I went.

My regular reef is on the regular terrain coastal terrain and probably won't show up if you are using a different wCSO and xtgc files.

The ones on the sea terrain are obviously the new land mark terrain.

The birds are part of my regular sea terrain and they just showed up in the preview, I could probably add some birds to the LMsea if you wanted.

hi Pounder

got the file and plugged it in. attached is a screen. it seems only two tiles among the whole reef show your neat additions. i am sort of familiar with how the coast and other water tiles work (butting up with one another etc). so i am thinking it is this any ideas?

Those are single tile landmarks which means they where made by using two or more wCSO tiles not the LwSSS tiles. The LwSSS tiles will only show if there are one or zero wCSO tiles attached.

The wCSO could be modded to have quarters and halves of the reef tiles.

I thought you where going to use this around Australia so I pictured something more open.

If you really need to go into those narrow channels, then those tiles could be identified and modded.

Or maybe the solution should have been to mod the only the wCSO file and not touch the LwSSS, just have narrow reefs that follow the continental shelf.

I have have been mostly just playing civ3 the last while, made some tweeks to some of the files, but nothing worth posting.

Always modifying the the biq, adding something to the game, so the next game is always tweeked.
