Pre-load BNW

Hmm, not sure what else it could be. Others have tried clearing their cache, but not sure if that worked for them or not.

... and this is why I insisted about the pre-load for everyone during the last week, to no avail... now the bottleneck (I was lucky I guess to DL it as soon as it was up)
 
I'm no expert, but I would guess the game is trying to verify your internet connection, and the same server that does that is also downloading the update to others and that maybe it's too busy. Maybe try it a few times every minute or so and see if you can slip in? If not, you could try changing your DL region server (Steam-Settings-Download tab) and see if that helps? I've never done that before so not sure how it may affect any of your other Steam games. :confused:
 
I'm also having the exact same issue. It downloads a 9.1 MB file, has a .pkg file in my /dlc/expansion2 folder.
 
Let's see how this goes this time. So far the game is halfway downloaded. The setup process hopefully goes smoothly. Steam please be my friend today. :D
 
It says my DX9 is not responding. I will verify game cache.
